Visiting and Serving in Acuña, Mexico

At the end of May 2025, I had the opportunity to go on a Mission Trip to Mexico.  We lodged in Del Rio, TX, with Granny B.  It was a wonderful facility for missionaries to make day trips across the border. Granny B’s hospitality and warmth gave us a sense of love that we wanted to share! We partnered with Brother Jose and Sister Olga of Mexico Missions Ministry.  They made the trip in and out of Mexico effortlessly.

Our first stop was at the Iglesia Taller Del Maestro (The Master’s Workshop Church).  Here we painted the inside of the church, and the roof on the Pastor’s home was fixed.

After eating lunch with the family and finishing work, there was a community outreach with over 50 children joining the event.  Sister Olga led the activities with lots of fun, singing, and laughter.  We served hot dogs, chips, and drinks. Sister Olga and some of our team made balloon figures for the children. It was a long but rewarding and productive day!

The next morning, we went to a different church called Templo Bet-el (Bethel Temple) in Acuña, Mexico.  We cleaned fans, installed a fan, and fixed church pews. Church members joined us in our efforts, and we had a great time working together. We also had a tour of a classroom built for this church, for EVM to engage in building a classroom for another church.

Our final stop of the day was to Iglesia Fuego de Dios (Fire of God Church). Here we met the Pastor and his wife and other church members.  This would be the location that EVM and CFBC would build a classroom in the Fall of 2025. Pastor Raul prayed over our team before we departed for the day.

On our way back to Texas after a fulfilling mission trip, and ready to prepare for the next mission trip.
